About the Role

As a Compliance & Communications Support Representative at OpenRoad Global, you will play a vital role in ensuring that only qualified carriers are approved to move account shipments. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, provide timely support, and uphold compliance standards. You will be responsible for managing inquiries, resolving issues, and working within our systems to facilitate seamless shipment deliveries. Through your expertise and dedication to service excellence, you will contribute to the efficiency and integrity of our logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough background checks on carriers to ensure compliance with all requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer-specific carrier vetting and ongoing compliance standards.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and inquiries.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders to support engagement and issue resolution.
  • Accurately verify and enter shipment details into the Transportation Management Software.
  • Schedule appointments via phone, email, or other communication platforms.
  • Provide stakeholders with timely and precise shipment information.
  • Audit and update load information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor, track, and trace shipments, providing proactive updates as needed.
  • Support the Carrier Communications Manager with assigned duties.
  • Assist the Carrier Compliance department with compliance-related tasks as required.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and respect in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information with clarity and confidence.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, demonstrating urgency, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong internet research skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, and meet deadlines effectively.
