On June 29, 2019, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for children) of Polk Country will be holding its 4th annual Golf “Fore” Kids tournament fundraiser at Oak Knoll golf course.  OpenRoad Transportation (owned by Mark and Liz Weisensee) will place several teams in the tournament as well as participating as an Activity on-the-Hole Sponsor.

“OpenRoad aims to create an environment where people can be encouraged, motivated, and supported,” said Lead Marketing Associate Alyssa Cooley.  “This is why we are grateful for what CASA is doing to advocate for the abused and neglected children in Polk County and we are honored to be a part of their cause.”

According to their website, “a CASA advocates for a child’s best interest by providing support and guidance thru the court system to make sure his or her basic rights and essential needs are being met.  Every child deserves to have a safe place to live that encourages growth into a responsible and productive young adult.”
