This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves building and maintaining client relationships, managing accounts, and assessing risk on freight bills. Our Account Managers are responsible for making quick business decisions that have a real impact on OpenRoad Financial Services and our clients.
All ORFS employees are encouraged to collaborate in an effort to continuously improve our processes and customer service. Everyone on the team is responsible for presenting new ideas and perspectives.
Our Account Managers are the first point of contact for our clients. They make sure that the OpenRoad Financial process fits our clients’ needs, which sometimes means educating clients on other services we provide that will help grow their business. They also lead the charge on promotion and cross-selling of new services or products to their account base. These managers must have a thorough knowledge of their organization’s products and services and need to be able to make targeted pitches for current and future clients.
Our best Account Managers keep laser focused on maintaining positive working relationships with their clients, keeping in mind that OpenRoad Financial Services success is built on the success of our client’s businesses. Their strong internal drive to provide the best services on the market motivates them to proactively address pain points and quickly react to issues. Our top performers regularly go above and beyond what is required of them to add value for our clients – such as creating new business solutions, championing process improvements, or personalizing communications.
This role does demand a high level of comfort making quick (but well-reasoned) decisions involving large amounts of company and client funds.
