About The Role

As an Operations Representative at OpenRoad Transportation, Inc. (ORT) you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence through tracking and tracing our shipments, making appointments, entering load information into our TMS, communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and support smooth delivery of shipment. You will provide excellent customer service to both customers and carriers while constantly interacting with our sales and carrier teams to promote load visibility.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls, emails, and other communications quickly and with expertise
Verify and enter load information into TMS with accuracy and speed
Schedule appointments via phone, email, or other communications
Provide timely and accurate shipment information to internal and external stakeholders
Audit load information for accuracy and completion, making updates as needed
Track and trace shipments
Work closely with accounting department to resolve internal discrepancies

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication
Have a sense of urgency, self-confidence, passion, open-mindedness, and commitment to do whatever it takes to satisfy the customer
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong internet skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively
1-2 years of experience required
